Selection Criteria

Experience has taught us that a good selection process is key to the success of the ToolBox initiative. Not all organisations want, need or are ready for a partnership with ToolBox. A bad match would result in a loss of valuable time for our volunteers, for the beneficiary organisation itself, and for ToolBox as an organisation.

That is why the Central Team and the Executive Committee consider the selection of NPO's as one of their most important tasks.

The most important element in the selection is the quality and interest of the leadership team of the NPO. In addition we endeavour to serve:

• Non-profits with a social mission
• Beneficiaries of non-profits should be based in India
• Willingness of the NPO to change in order to increase its impact on its beneficiaries
